Oral History Interview with Charles Conrad

Mr. Conrad was born in 1930 and grew up on a family farm in Berry, KY. He went to school during the time of consolidation in Kentucky. After he graduated he served three years in the Marines as a drill instructor. After the military he settled on the Banking field and worked at Peoples Deposit bank in Burlington for over twenty years, starting as a cashier and raising to Chairman of the Board. Mr. Conrad served as Boone County Treasurer under Judge Terry Roberts. Mr. Conrad also gives amusing accounts of his experiences working at the Airport and as a bailiff at the Courthouse. His son Gary Conrad is a Creative Director at Nickelodeon network.
