The holidays are looking bright for an irresponsible, sophisticated Englishman named Timothy who falls in love with an attractive, unpretentious American woman named Candy. She responds warmly when he turns over a new leaf and finds steady employment.
The Yuletide romance takes a serious blow, however, when he learns Candy has a homicidal husband who has just escaped from prison and is likely headed their way. Timothy runs the risk of losing both Candy and his life in this frighteningly funny Christmas tale.
