Learning both the ranching and family ropes is a full-time job. Romance is the last thing on his mind--until he meets Juliet Grayson, a young widowed mother struggling to run her ranch and start a therapy program for wounded soldiers. But taking a chance again on love--and heartbreak--isn't something Juliet is about to do--if only Griff wasn't so hard to resist. VERDICT A lifelong outsider learns to be part of a family, and a brave, caring woman discovers how to love again in a sigh-worthy, danger-inflected, often funny romance that features a wealth of perfectly drawn supporting characters (including a pair of adorable little boys and a rough yet charming grandfather).
